This institution is only the second government research institution in India with excellent facilities in the department of biotechnology and Pharmaceutical analysis. The present batch of postgraduate students in Pharmaceutical Analysis have completed their projects of the second year curriculum
1. Estimation of fluroquinolone residues in chicken meat and comparison of different varieties in AP and Telengana
2. Method development, validation and comparison of sulphonamides in chicken meat at different areas in Hyderabad.

This MOU provides wonderful opportunity for the collaborative research work in the area of Phytochemistry and Pharmacology.
Projects done:
1. Anxiolytic activity of three ayurvedic formulations: A Comparative study
2.Evaluation of Anti-diabetic activity of ethanolic extract of Butea Monosperma flowers.
3. ALPHA-MED FORMULATIONS
This is a firm which provides research and manufacturing services with special emphasis on development of products as per regulatory requirements and transfer of adequate technologies for development of formulation on commercial scale.
This MOU has a tremendous potential for students and staff through visits and collaborative research. This MOU is valid till the year 2023.
Collaborative research work with CSIR-CIMAP( Centre for Medicinal and Aromatic plants)
- Extraction,isolation,quantification and analytical method development of withania-A and withanolide-A in different varities of withania somnifera(L)
- Extraction,isolation, and Estimation of Eugenol and Ursolic acid in different species of Ocimum by different analytical techniques.
